I have both 1000 (phat) series and 2000 (slim) series PSPs. Some will have new and hella bright screens. Can also custom build housings with sound reactive LEDs in them. They will all have CFW 5.00 m33-6 or higher on them so you'll be able to backup or download copies of games *you already own* from the internet and you'll be able to play homebrew games as well as do a bunch of other nifty shit with them.
Prices:
PSP Phat (w/ standard factory housing): $140
PSP Slim (w/ standard factory housing): $150
PSP Phat (w/custom housing and basic sound reactive LEDs in triggers): $240
PSP Slim (w/custom housing and basic sound reactive LEDs in triggers): $260
I can make other custom mods and will add more LEDs at request but it's gonna cost more. Anything other than the standard setups are going to require a deposit of $100 _________________

this is an example of what the uber modded ones will be like. Havent learned how to do the additional speakers yet but it cant be too difficult. I'll be practicing that mod on a couple of my existing PSPs in the next week or two if I get the time. _________________

All that homebrew stuff is firmware dependent right? I like some of the newer firmware abilities so I guess no homebrew for me? Last time I kept up with stuff they were still using the grand theft auto exploit. _________________

you can get up to cfw5.50 GEN-D now I believe. The only game that's not playable so far is the new kingdom hearts, but you know they'll get through that too.
doing a clear on a UMD door ring isn't too bad, but you have to be careful with the dremel and a bunch of people who've done the ring of light mod cant play UMDs anymore. if you're really careful though it's a sweet mod. I'd say use way more than 1 LED back there though. at least 4 but I'd say 8 would be best bet. Current max I think is 44 LEDs in one system.
LED triggers isnt bad. different color buttons can be a bit iffy cause most of the kits out there have gotten rough reviews saying the buttons didnt fit perfectly and most users switched back to their original buttons. _________________

i'm not asking this to be a dick, because my intentions tend to get misconstrued sometimes, but what is the significance of modding the psp's? is it just for aesthetics (like cars and what not)? i am just trying to understand. _________________
